BEST of SHOW!!!
Okay - I’ll make a bigger deal of it now that time has passed. Yea I won Best of Show at the La Jolla Festival of Arts this past weekend. It seems like weeks ago and I am still not sure how to take it all.
I had to tell the photographer to hold off on photos as I was getting tears.

Then after they left I balled like a baby for at least 2wo minutes.

My friend and I must have wandered into your booth right after you got your ribbon at La Jolla Arts…..as you were still responding to the news. I just wanted to congratulate you again on this well deserved honor. Honestly we were doing our best to distract you and keep you talking cause we couldn’t just leave you like that! : ) Your reaction was heartwarming…..your pictures are gorgeous! Keep up the good work!

Like your approach to life and to your work. Both nice to see. Am living in Singapore these days and stumbled across a postcard of yours I picked up at a show of yours in 2006. Brings back wonderful memories of your work and of San Diego, still the best place on Earth. Peace, a fellow Michael.
