I’m off
The video above was the time spent before the tour.
So today was spent driving to Paihia Kawakawa or The Bay of Islands. It was good. Met about 30 new people, realized that this is called an adventure tour for a reason and I hope don’t run outta money. On our way here we made one quick stop at the largest (or second largest) Kauri tree in New Zealand. These trees used to cover the a large part of the whole north island but due to the value the sap and quality of wood the early europeans devestated them and not until there were only a few left. They did not realize how long they take to grow until it was too late. The one we saw was big but was still a far second to the redwoods where my brother (and wife with new nephew) live.
So anywho I saw the where the centeral part of this little town and harbor was located and knew my next image would be of that. I hope to post a proof of what I got soon.
