WHAT IS A CANVAS GILCEE PRINT?

The French word "giclée" is a feminine noun that means a spray or a spurt of liquid. I use the same giclée printers to create every single one of my canvas and metallic photo prints.  I originally started with canvas prints as it made sense to how I create my work like a painter - blending a pallette of colors together.  The advantage of canvas as well over the Museum Mount is how in a room with plenty of available light canvas does not cause the reflection like glass over art can.  All these prints are available in "Ready to Hang" floating versions as well as in select floater frames. Many other Custom Framing options are available in the gallery.

WHAT IS A MUSEUM MOUNT PRINT?

Facemount© (traditionally called Museum Mount) is when the front of the print is bonded to the reverse of a high gloss acrylic sheet. I use a special metallic surfaced photo paper to create these prints and a high quality extruded UV acrylic sheet to bond the face of the print to. I use all archival materials. Hence the term Museum Mount. This results in extraordinary image quality, extremely vibrant colors and the deepest of black tones with an unsurpassed depth of contrast. The sharpness in these prints is more real than reality. All these prints are available in "Ready to Hang" floating versions as well as in select floater frames. Many other Custom Framing options are available in the gallery.

WHAT IS A PREMIUM LUSTER PHOTO PRINT?

You remember what your school photos, your parents wedding album and your team photographs were printed all on?  This is that same luster photo paper. From the beginning of photographic printing to this day traditional fine-art photographers have always used the Resin Coated Luster Photo Paper to represent their most significant work. These are PRINTS ONLY but there are many other Custom Printing, Finishing Framing options are available in the gallery.  Email for sales@luminous-views.com or call 619-231-9061 for more information.

  CUSTOM WORK

The entire process of photographing, imaging, printing, finishing, framing and even boxing for shipping is done by myself. I really take pride in what I do and have recently invested in making the whole process smoother and allow me to make much larger prints than normal. Please do not hesitate to contact me about custom framing, any odd sized wall space or special pricing on larger orders.
